Hi everyone!

Firstly, a quick introduction from me - as I've just moved into the brand-new role of Principal Evangelist. You'll be hearing a lot more from me as I really get going with this role - so I won't reveal all just yet - suffice to say for now that Liferay is leaning into the Community in a big way, something that we've not done for a while now...

The first thing we're doing is opening up our Release Webinars to anyone who is interested in learning about Liferay's new features. These occur once per quarter, in line with Liferay's Quarterly Releases of DXP, and while this doesn't line up with our CE releases, we think you'll be interested in what's available now, if you are a DXP user, or someone who's building Liferay from the source, or in what will be available in early 2026 if you're using our CE releases!

Our release webinars typically have the following agenda:

• The release timeline
• Highlights of the 2025.Q3 release
• A live Q&A with me and our Product Managers where you can ask anything you want about what's being released, what might be coming, or what was recently released!

This quarter though we have a particularly exciting announcement - our move from Java EE 8 to Jakarta EE 10 - and we'll be covering at a high-level what this means in terms of benefits to users, as well as the changes that will need to be made to custom code.
