Ray Auge 16 Years Ago Hey Rich,As a fellow Liferayee working from home, I can relate. I also have children and can enjoy them far more than I would working in an office or other work environment. On the other hand, it can be a mixed blessing... A couple of weeks back, I was on a call with a client, when both he and I heard piercing shrieks of terror... I dropped the phone on the floor and, after a brief moment of panic, picked the phone back up and said "John... " at which time he immediately cut me off saying "Ray, I'll call you back... go see what's wrong."What had happened? Well, I have two boys, one 13 years old, the other 7. Let's just say that they have a tendency of getting on each other's nerves from time to time. I don't recall the exact details of that particular "incident", but it either involved an xbox controller, hockey sticks, or possibly LEGO projectiles... I wished (briefly) that I was back in an office environment.I love working from home... but there are tough moments. Please sign in to reply. Reply as... Cancel
Josh Asbury 16 Years Ago I used to work from home in my current job, but that changed about 3 years ago when we restructured and "went legit" in the company. I was much more productive during my team's early years.... Please sign in to reply. Reply as... Cancel
