All documentation is being centralized on a new site called learn.liferay.com.  Learn represents a large scale effort within Liferay to completely re-envision, curate, and re-write documentation to simplify and improve the learning experience for people of all backgrounds using our products.  Documentation is currently spread across several sites with some being indexed by Google and some not. The plan moving forward is that all relevant documentation will be added to learn.liferay.com.  

Learn will have documentation for the whole Liferay family of products including: Liferay Commerce, Liferay DXP Cloud,  Liferay Analytics Cloud, and Liferay Portal/DXP. Liferay Portal documentation will co-exist with the Liferay DXP documentation as all core features shared between Liferay Portal and Liferay DXP function the same.  In the future Liferay Portal and Liferay DXP articles will include a callout indicating which product the feature is meant for.  

Learn.liferay.com is very much a work in progress and at the time of this writing we’ve evaluated and covered roughly 25% of our existing documentation.  Learn.liferay.com targets Liferay Portal and Liferay DXP 7.2 and above. Documentation for previous versions has been made publicly available on Help Center at help.liferay.com. Work is currently underway to index both Help Center and Learn with Google Search.  Portal.liferay.dev will be retired and all documentation will be forwarded to Help Center.
