Hi Jonas,
first of all thanks, because I've found both your book and blog very useful. However I haven't been able to run your "Liferay Portal (5.1.2 with FCKEditor 2.6.3), Alfresco Portlet (3.0.0 E), LDAP ADS and SSO CAS" bundle. I've started up the portal, but I can't see the Alfresco client portlet (once installed) to add it to my portal, as it is said in your instructions.

Could you help me?

Firstly congratulations for such great work emoticon !!!

I was looking at http://www.liferay.com/web/guest/community/forums/-/message_boards/message/389731 and am really interested in using Alfresco as a repository of liferay emoticon

I had exactly the same problem that Gloria faced. Apart from that i was unable to download Liferay-Alfresco-REST-Tomcat-6.zip from http://liferay.cignex.com/sesame/ (the download link is missing emoticon emoticon ). Also i am unable to login the demo @ http://sesame.cignex.com with credentials jonas@cignex.com/jonas (tried jonas/jonas also emoticon )

Kindly help me in this regard emoticon

Hi Parul,

Thank you so much for your interesting on full integration of Liferay and Alfresco.

The site is upgraded to current version of both Liferay and Alfresco. You may try the latest version: Liferay 5.1.2 and Alfresco 3.0 E at http://liferay.cignex.com.

At the same time, the real demo is still active at http://liferay.cignex.com, login in as jonas/jonas, jane/jane, etc. (you will see: Usage - Real Demo Download Read me)

Hi Jonas,

I hope this comments finds you in the best of health. I've tried posting questions in forum as well but haven't gotten any useful replies. You seem to be the right person to get hold of regarding my issue. I am trying to port our existing website www.carbonated.tv to liferay. I wanted to know if liferay provides everything that we already have and what strategy should we follow to perform this migration. Right now its a custom built cms but we wanted to go for a more standardized thing like liferay. It would be very nice if you could shed some light on how to perform the following:

Posting of videos, articles, etc. to website. After a video is posted, we want it to appear like it does right now with a proper search engine friendly url rather than some ids appended to the urls. All the videos will have the same layout page with similar pods around the player but with different data according to the specific video being called. I have no clue right now, how to do it. Any help will be appreciated.
