Same procedure as last year: Devcon 2019 is coming closer, and with it everybody is working behind the scenes to make it even more awesome than last year. You don't need to take my word for it: Take Andrew's.

In 2019 we are back in the center of Germany, in the beautiful town of Mainz, which is very close to Frankfurt, thus really easy to reach from everywhere.

Just like every year since 2013, the event is opened by the annual 1-day Unconference, in which you'll have face-to-face meeting opportunity with other people from the global Liferay community, and corner them until your questions are answered, your suggestions heard, your ideas spread.

Despite all of our past efforts, the Unconference is not unlimited in size (but we managed to grow it again) and always sold out in the past years. Don't come to me crying if you don't get a ticket: You've been warned and can register early. You'll also profit from the Early Bird price until mid-September.

Right after the Unconference, we'll have our free Community Event, in a yet undisclosed secret lair.

Followed by the 2-day Devcon full format conference with workshops, presentations, keynotes, party and - of course - unquestionably the best coffee you can have at a conference (ask past attendees). Check the conference's home page for updates to the agenda, and book your trip early to beat the rush and to make sure you are in.
