Damascus is a CRUD scaffolding tool for Liferay. Damascus generates services and web interfaces for both user and admin (PanelApp) with CRUD functionalities.

The new features included in the 1.1.1 release are as following:

  • Liferay 7.2 template
  • 7.0, 7.1 templates miner fixes
  • Template Generation tool 

The template generation tool was initially added for internal use to streamline the template building process, going back and forth between the templates and original files frequently to fix bugs and apply fixes into templates until it's release.

Any relation to App Builder in 7.3?

It doesn't have to do with App Builder, this generator is based on fully customizable template based on Service Builder. Since Liferay is moving towards Rest API (OpenAPI), I'm considering that integration too.

Hello, 

 

We want to try your tool but we want to use the new Liferay 7.3.... do you know if your tool will upgrade soon ?

 

If no, do you think it will be hard if I try to upgrade  the 7.2 generated modules by myself ?
