Add flag icons
Hello,
I am working with Liferay DXP. I would like to add some flag icons to some languages. In Liferay 6.2 I know that I can do it with a hook which adds the flags icons in the control-panel theme and/or classic-theme.
Someone know how to do it in Liferay DXP?.
Thank you very much.
Regards,
Patricia

Thank you for your reply!
However, I cannot create a new theme because the control panel uses the admin-theme and I want to show the flag icons in the control panel. For instance, I would like using the flag icon in web content localization.
How could I do this? Is it possible to do it in Liferay DXP?
Thank you very much.

HI,
it seems Liferay 7 uses lexicon flag icons instead images(as liferay 6 do):
Unfortunately Swiss flag doesn't exist (here you can find the available flag icons): icons-lexicon

Thank you very much!
Hi Patricia,
Here you have an answer by Miroslav Ligas to a similar question. In this answer, he includes an example to customize the Admin Theme to add the Welsh flag.
So the steps to add a custom language and flag are:
1. Add the ISO 639-1 language code to the locales.enabled list in portal-ext.properties (in your case, de_CH)
2. Customize the admin-theme (and any other where you want your flag to be visible) as explained by Miroslav, adding the right icons: src/images/lexicon/flags-de-CH.svg and src/images/language/de_CH.png
Let me know if this works!
