Hi All,

I am using xuggler5.4 to generate a video preview in liferay 6.2.Could any one tell, how to enable log for xuggler ?

Hi Akash,

you can enable log (from Control Panel) for this categories:

com.liferay.portlet.documentlibrary.util.VideoProcessorImpl
com.liferay.portlet.documentlibrary.util.LiferayVideoConverter

Hi Juan,

Thanks for replying.I did this but now i am getting log from liferay classes.Is there any way to get the log from xuggler classes.So that i will come to know how xuggler is generating preview.and then if there is any error will come from xuggler side, i can debug.

AFAIK all log (non-debug) from Xuggler is printed in server log. Do you have errors and those aren't printed?

No i am not getting error for now.But many time i got error from xuggler end and then i am not able to fix those error due to unavailability of xuggler log.So i needed log from xuggler side.

Post here those errors. There are some of them that aren't an issue.

So are you having errors or not? emoticon

Xuggler is printing warnings and errors AFAIK, and logs from Xuggler side can't be configured right now.

Can you tell me.Which class of xuggler is called by liferay at the time of video preview generation?
