could anybody explain for what preferences-sharing-type could be used in detail?<br /><br />in the documentation it says:<br /><!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->The preferences-sharing-type value indicates the preferences sharing type of the portlet. If set to none, preferences are not shared and each page will have its own set of preferences. If set to user, preferences are shared by user if the portlet is in a personal page or by group if the portlet is in a group page. If set to company, prefrences are shared across the entire company.<br /><br />what I would like to use is:<br />I have a community page. as administrator/poweruser I would like to set the preferences for a portlet on this community page. this preferences should apply to all users for this community page. where can I set preferences for a whole group? is this possible? can I restrict the edit-mode to a specific group, e.g. PowerUser?<br /><br />when I use preferences-sharing-type=&quot;user&quot; for every user a database entry will be created with layoutId=&quot;SHARED&quot;. what does this mean?<br /><br />I try to set preferences on community level. But although for every user there will be an entry in database. When I update this preferences on community level, the users own set in database won&#39;t be udpated....is this correct?<br /><br />thx for any help.<br />Dani
