Hi all, I'm having trouble to use this feature in Document Library. I have few docs in there and when I want to update a doc... I select "Edit" from the popup menu, then hit download on the next screen... after finishing updating it, I go back to the screen and do "Upload New Version", it doesn't work for me. I saw the progress bar as it uploading but at the end it said error on the page.

"You have entered invalid data. Please try again"

and right above the "Browse" text box, it said:

"Please enter a file with a valid file size. "

I have set the file size from portal.properties to 0 to have the max file size possible. So why it still complains?

I can add file but i cannot edit / update it.

Any ideas?

By default, I believe it only allows you to upload files less than 300k, the message that says "Please enter a file with a valid file size" is telling you that your document is too big. This can be changed in portal.properties.

On the first installation when I still have the default... i can't even add anythig bigger than the default size... then after few readings, I went and change the property, it even said on the property file that set to 0 to get the unlimited size... and i did that, and it did allow me to upload bigger files... just that now I couldn't upload any new version to existing docs...
Any other ideas?

Looks like I have solved the issue myself... I have to set the size allowed to something other than 0.. so I set to 5120000... but I wonder why this statement that I found on the portal.properties wasn't true...

# Set the maximum file size and valid file extensions for documents. A value
# of 0 for the maximum file size can be used to indicate unlimited file
# size. A file extension of * will permit all file extensions.

Value of 0 doesn't allow me to "upload" the updated documents to the existing ones on the portal.
