Hi

I'm new to liferay i just want to know how to tune and configure the portal to suit my usage.
There is resource limit that contains memory,area ,map and thread.The questions is how to set these for best performance?

i'm using tomcat7 and postgresql is there any tweak or advice i should be aware of?

The tuning always depends on your installation. Best way to start is to configure monitoring tools for your environment. When you collected some data form the tools start to tweak the platform. Optimize your memory, GC ... Always identify the problem and then get rid of it.
