Hello.

I'm using the SVN trunk versions of both the Liferay Portal 5.3.0 and the chat portlet. I have a MySQL database after deplyoing the chat portlet for the first time, two tables were created.

Everything looks fine, no visible errors (neither in the browser nor the server), except the friends count never goes up. I tried with different strategies in the properties file, signing in users in different browsers. Is there any file I may have missed that needs configuration? Anybody got this combination working?

how did you compile chat portlet am getting error wich svn are you using?

I've seen other people complaining about it in other places. I'm guessing that the chat is broken in the beta right now.
