Hi, I am very new to liferay. My requirement is that we need to build dashboard (user's home page) personalized page with drag and drop modules like google.com/ig. We don't need advance like google.com/ig. At least we want module stick around, hide/show necessary and unnecessary modules. Can we we it with liferay's existing feature or we need to write custom dode.

Help on this would be appreciated.

The feature you're looking for comes out of the box in Liferay. By default, each user gets a "My Community" where the user can add any module/portlet they want.

The is concept of User Profile,Communities, Organization and User Groups in Liferay.

Each and every thing can have its set of pages, portlet applications and branding(Look and Feel).
