Polling Error Message - 404/home
So I have recently setup a portal with the 6.1 CE Version and after the server starts up I see this in the tail of my catalina.out:
Thiswill continue to happen every 3 seconds the entire time the server is up and it seems to be happening on all threads of Tomcat. I'm assuming this will cause a crash at some point, but if nothing else, it really clutters up the log!
Any clues on what's going on here?
Thanks,
George

Any chance that you've setup virtual hosting? Are you using linux?
I am using Linux and I have not set up any Virtual Hosts yet. I do have a page routing in place for login to send you to the logged in home.
Hi - I was wndering if you ever got to the bottom of this issue as I am having a similar problem.
A similar warning ([ajp-bio-8009-exec-13][404_jsp:?] /home) is appearing every 3 seconds in the Liefray log file.
I am using Linux with Apache sitting in-front of Liferay.

I did manage to fix it, but I honestly don't remember what I did. I think it had to do with the auto-routing from my public pages to private pages on login. Somewhere in there I still had a setting for /home.
