We don't want to have webdav available on our portal; this is in part
possible by using portal properties to disable access to the
underlying servlet; however that leaves several places in the UI that
show webdav related sections:
- User settings allows any user to generate a new webdav password,
regardless of whether that password can be used (under password screen)
- In the doclib 'Access from Desktop'
It would be nice to have a configuration to disable webdav entirely
(preferably per portal instance) and/or have a permission to restrict
it; which would remove these sections from the UI
