RE: Need to display content view count in web content admin page
Hi All,
I'm encountering a business requirement where the visitor count isn't displaying for a specific structure, namely the "test" structure.
My Liferay version is 7.4 q3.1, Here are the details:
- When viewing a published test article within Web Content, the system doesn't show the number of times that article has been viewed inside Web Content as an admin or a content editor.
Reproduction Steps:
- Log in as a content creator.
- Navigate to Web Content > test.
- Open a published test article.
Expected Results:
- The system should display the visitor count for the news article, indicating how many times it's been viewed.
Actual Results:
- No button or field shows the visitor count.
Troubleshooting Steps Taken:
- I've enabled the view count increment options in the following system settings:
- Web Content > Web Content Display
- Infrastructure > View Count
- Assets > Display Page Template (checked "VIEW Content Increment")
I need to display the number of views on the web content admin page.
