RE: Locale & Bootstrap Issues 7.3.3-GA4 and 7.3.4-GA5
Hi all,
Two issues since 7.3.3-GA4 that I have found and hoped upgrading to 7.3.4-GA5 would solve since it came out a few days after our 7.3.3-ga4 upgrade.
thanks for any feedback.

- I am using en-GB for our default language settings but there appears to be a locale bug as editing any content results in "Please enter a valid title" or something similar that only goes away, allows saving, when you also copy the text over to the en-US localisation. I tried to check the default locale settings for the server and virtual instance but can't seem to find a way to fix this.
- We have some simple basic content that uses bootstrap styles for a text based carousel slide set up. This work before 7.3.3-GA4. It does not appear to be a bootstrap version issue but I am unable to determine why the slider no longer "slides". Anyone else having bootstrap issues?
thanks for any feedback.
1) Can you produce a reproducible example? Then you could open a bug for it. I have seen bugs like this before and I had hoped that they were gone by now.
2) Maybe this is jQuery related. jQuery was disabled in 7.3.3 (or 4 maybe). You can enable it again in the system settings. But please note that it would be better to provide jQuery yourself in the theme or to implement the slider without it. I believe, the fragment slider in GA5 is "jQuery free". Maybe take a look at it.

In trying to reproduce this error I came across this error which prevents testing but is probably related. Hope this helps to resolve the issue.

Thanks Christoph, your assistance is greatly appreciated. I have temporarily enabled jquery globally and will look to migrate either to including jquery in my themes or to migrating to fragments.
Had a quick go at fragments and it looks promising but a bit of a learning curve to understand how they get onto a page and published. I have a custom layout so will need to figure out how they fit into that. I am hopeful that it won't be much work.
I will set up a clean install and test the locale issue and raise a bug if needed.
cheers
