I have downloaded and installed liferay-commerce-2.0.7-7.2.x-201912261227.1. Created site by selecting the site template as "Speedwell" 2. Created Products with an Option "Color"3. Navigated to Catalog page. I could see all the Products along with Filters(Option Facet, Specification Facet, Category Facet)4. On select one of the filter, I was displayed with same result. Products are not displaying based on the selection in the filter. Please let me know whether I am missing some configuration.

Unfortunately, this was a known issue with Commerce 2.0.7: https://issues.liferay.com/browse/COMMERCE-2605

Hello Corbin Murakami, Thanks for the swift response.
Catalog  search is one of the basic and very important feature in eCommerce.  It would be nice If it was fixed  this issue on priority ...

Hi Anji, I completely agree. If you take a look at the ticket, you'll see that this issue was resolved in January of this year. The code is publicly available and linked in the ticket.

Hi Corbin,
I'm experiencing the same situation reported by Anji and "fixed" into Liferay commerce 2.1.0. Unfortunately I'm not able to dowload the 2.1.0 version, it seems that the only CE version downlodable is still the 2.0.7: are you planning to release the 2.1.0 also for CE instances?

Looking at the jira ticket, I see that I'm not able to access the "git pull" https://github.com/marco-leo/liferay-portal-ee/pull/29 or the "git commit" mentioned at the end of the ticket comment thread https://github.com/liferay/liferay-portal/commit/e6a92eb8ce5d1f970ceb99e3e64506f7d8302d0d
We're starting in my company to seriously evaluate Liferay Commerce as our Standard B2B Platform, but as you could imagine having a "buggy" catalog page is not a good starting point (we're planning several demos to potential leads).

What I noticed in that page is that not only the "faceted search" is not working, but also the "search by keyword" feature (check attached screenshot): it was fixed in the same ticket?

Hi Federico, I apologize for the issues that you are running into and I thank you for your patience as you continue your evaluation.  Because Liferay Commerce is an app that is deployed on top of DXP or CE, we sometimes require a that a fix be developed for DXP or CE.  In the case of DXP, these fixes are published in FixPacks which we will continue to release for as long as the product is supported.  For CE we don't publish FixPacks but we do publish new GA releases until the next major release is available.  Since Liferay CE 7.3 has been released, there have no new releases of 7.1 or 7.2 and that is why there is not a Community Edition of Liferay Commerce 2.1.0 or 2.1.1.  Work is underway to achieve 7.3 compatibility and my understanding is that in the future our development will move back to the the master branch so we should always have compatibility with the latest CE release.  If you are interested I can arrange for a trial of the latest EE release (2.1.1) to help you continue your evaluation.

Hi Jeffrey,

I'm already in contact with Liferay Italy, and already started the trial.

Thanks for your reply
