Upgrade? It's a bug in one specific Liferay version (I forgot which one exactly).
You could also try to check the html markup of the page, maybe you can find a css selector to just hide the text.
You could also try to find the jsp that contains the text and override it with a fragment. But I am not sure if that's possible it all.

Christopher, thanks for the reply. I solved it by putting the same background color in the Look and Feel of the Web Content Display. Then I changed the color of the text
in the text view of the Content. The solution is not very elegant but it works! :-)

I still recommend that you upgrade to the latest version, that version is also affected by a very bad security issue.
