7.2.0 CE GA1 – HTTP 404 Webpage not found
I receive the following error after giving another site in my Sites list a virtual hostname under ‘Settings > Site URL > Public Pages’. I know the DNS record and sitename (mysite.domain.whatever) are active. What am I overlooking? Is this a Liferay site issue and/or IIS (Internet Information Service) issue?
Error: Webpage cannot be found. HTTP 404

BRODY HIGGS JR:
Hard to say from a distance: Is this message from your IIS, from Tomcat, or from Liferay? You'd need to figure out which server / virtual host is actually serving the page. And if your reverse proxy forwards the correct request to the correct backend.
