7.2 M2 - Columns > Deleting Pages Easy To Miss That The Page Has Children
The warning that comes up when trying to delete a page that has children is identical to the warning that appears when deleting a page that has no children. Because those child pages are also deleted when deleting a parent page and because it's now harder to visually see that a page has children, the message should be more explicit in explaining that child pages will also be deleted.
This wasn't an issue in 7.0 because it was very visually clear that the page was a parent, there was a blue plus or minus icon next to it. Additionally in 7.0 because the tree menu was easier to understand visually and showed page structure much more naturally the user was better able to question if they were deleting the right page.
Expected
The visibility of child pages has been reduced so the user must be better alerted to the destructive action of deleting a page if they fail to see that the page has children.
