RE: Alloy Validator alternative for 7.0/DXP?
Hi all,
Since Alloy UI is no longer being developed, I'm looking for alternatives for the front-end in Liferay 7.x.
In the present case, I'd like to know if we have anything like the aui:validator for the 7.0 version.
I've looked into the clay taglib in 7.1 but I couldn't find validation. Anyway, It's a bit too soon for me to go into 7.1.
I know there are many good form-validating projects that work with jquery and/or bootstrap but I'd like to know if there's something already included in Liferay.
TIA
Fernando

You can still use aui:validator in 7.0 and 7.1.
But that means you will have to continue to use aui:input, right? Anyway, the idea is to discontinue use of Alloy and use more modern stuff, right?
Reading this, it seems to me that essential Alloy functionality is moving to Clay, but I don't seen any validator there. Besides, we have no Clay in 7.0.
