Priority Field is not working in basic Web content in Liferay DXP

I am using Asset Publisher portlet to show Carousel through Basic Web content.

While adding content in web content display there is a field 'Priority' .  But after setting priority also its not reflecting in Asset Publisher Portlet.

Last updated web content is displayed first. Please let me know how to prioritize the Asset publisher portlet.

Have you tried setting the sort order to Priority in "Ordering and Grouping " in Asset Publisher configuration?
