How to extend JournalArticle/Webcontent Context Menu

Hello Everybody,

I need to extend the webcontent/journal article contextmenu in the backend of liferay dxp. I found an article regarding DMS-Entries - but how to do that on webcontents?

Hm - strange. I'd expect it to work the same all over.

Maybe someone has tried it before and sees this post when it appears on top of the Recent Changes now with my additional comment...

Hi Heiko,

The approach described in the blog post is particular to the D&M, it is not portal-wide.

If you're talking about this Web Content actions menu:

the only way to extend it is to customize article_action.jsp from the journal-web module, take a look at the following article to know how to do it:
