I can't edit web content in a liferay DXP page

The option to edit web content on the page does not appear.

1 Here there's a page in liferay DXP with classic Theme and we can visualize the option to edit content


2. I made a Theme in Liferay DXP with the IDE gradle and import the files of the classic Theme, but the edit option does not appear




Can someone here help me ?

Just a guess, is your theme hiding the menu with CSS? Also, are you sure this is caused by your custom theme? Themes generally don't touch things inside the portlet other than to change the CSS.

I created the artifact from the IDE, put the folders generated by gulp kickstar and I did not modify the styles, but nevertheless this option does not appear yet.

If you can try and tell me if this option appears to you.

Hi,

I see the same issue with the classic theme as an admin in DXP sp7 tt omcabundle with the fixpack 47. On my local, an older version - sp6 DXP without fixpacks, I see the options. I am not sure why. I am wondering if the fixpacks caused this for me. What version of DXP and fixpacks are you running?

Hi all, could you please attach any of the themes that you are using so that we can test it? In this way we can see what's happening and try to solve this for everyone.

One thing to check would be if the option is still there, but not visible (maybe styling). Or if it's not there at all.

We can see that once we have the theme.
