How to setup SSO
Hi,
I've just installed Liferay on my linux machine. I have no Idea what to do next. I want to create a portal for my company. I got some info from my colleague that I need to install SSO initially. Can u guys help me with where to start and how to setup SSO??
Thank you,
Ragesh.

The best next step is to read the Liferay documentation.
Information on setting up SSO is available there too.

Sure it does.

Search for "Single Sign-On" in the page. There's a section on it.
Thanks A lot
I had gone through the documentation
According to the documentation we need to copy the "CAS Client .jar" file in the location "[Tomcat Home]/webapps/ROOT/WEB-INF/lib" , but for lifreray 6 we have already CAS client "cas-client-core.jar " at "[Tomcat Home]/webapps/ROOT/WEB-INF/lib". Can we update the documentation to reflect the presence of "cas-client-core.jar"
Thanks

I agree that Liferay's documentation are outdated on some points. Unfortunately, only Liferay employee can update the Liferay documentation pages.
Hi Rajesh
My understanding is that , it depends on your application also, some applications may not have SSO.
You can check CAS integration
http://www.liferay.com/community/wiki/-/wiki/Main/Single+SignOn+-+Integrating+Liferay+With+CAS+Server
You can share the name of the application which you like to have SSO , may be some users might have already done it
Thanks
