    <summary type="html">On windows you should not be using spaces in the paths for the JRE.  It is not being interpreted correctly by the batch script and reporting an invalid JRE_HOME because, in effect, that&amp;#39;s what it is.</summary>

    <summary type="html">Hi all , i have installed jdk 6 ,and from eclipse i have started the liferay it is starting, but when iam starting from command prompt, it is asking JRE_HOME environment variclae is not defined correctly, i have defined JRE_HOME inside setenv.bat file, and i have pointed to liferay jre ie. &lt;br /&gt;JRE_HOME=myfoldepath/liferay6.1/tomcat/jre 1.6/win&lt;br /&gt;But iam getting the same result as explained above.Please let me know how can i use the portal with out installing JDK.Thanks in advance.</summary>
